Appointment with Dr. Lee

weight: 6 pounds
length: 18.5 inches
 Follow - up appointment with Dr. Lee (Dr. Friedley out of town) due to jaundice risk level of Medium - High in hospital. Bilirubin level was 10.0. Dr. Lee ordered a bilirubin recheck which came back 12.30 - YAY!! No treatment needed at this time. While Dr. Lee was checking over Mommy's perfect little boy, he noticed something wasn't right with your right collar bone. Dr. Lee ordered an x-ray to rule out a possible Right collar bone fracture or break, of which happened in delivery. When mommy called back later that day to see about results, the x-ray of your shoulder came back that your RIGHT COLLAR BONE was indeed fractured. Dr. Lee said to pin it up to your outfit to make a natural sling, but you always figured out how to work your wrist out of it.

One week check - Dr. Friedley

weight: 7 pounds
length: 19 inches
 One week check up with your regular pediatrician, Dr. Friedley. We where called back to get your weight, and length, while mommy was waiting for her to finish, you peed all over me and the floor! Now little Carson, was that needed? Dr. Friedley was running way behind, as our appointment was at 3:45 pm and we didn't leave the office until 5:30 pm. When he finally came in, he did a similar assessment like what Dr. Lee did, he also mentioned your collar bone and mommy told him you already had an x-ray and an appointment set up with Dr. Fritz in orthopedics for a later date.
