Mommy went into labor on August 3rd on her own around 6:30 a.m. She was going to work but told your grandma that she wasn't feeling good. We gave it a little bit and grandma told me to call the doctor. I called the doctor and they told me to go on to labor and delivery to be monitored. I arrived about 8:30 to the hospital.When they hooked me up to the machine I was indeed having contractions. I was dilated to 2 cm. They were undecided if I need to stay or come back. The had me get up and walk the hall for a hour then they would recheck. When the rechecked I was a 3 which meant I was staying. I went really fast to 8 cm then I slowed down.

The monitor that mommy was hooked up to in order to keep a check on her blood pressure, contractions, and most important, YOUR heart rate!

Once the nurse rechecked me I asked about getting something for pain, although I felt like a wimp. By about 12:30 - 12:45 pm mommy had her epidural and was feeling better. The worst part was the initial numbing medicine they put in mommy's back.

On the left mommy was 40 week and 1 day and in labor, on the right mommy had you the day before and was anxious to be discharge home so she could cuddle you all she wanted and get you in a routine. Mommy is 20 years old in these pictures
